CAIR-LA & ICUJP Invite You to a Special Benefit Performance of “Sarah’s War”

Fictional play based on real life experiences of Peace Activist Rachel Corrie.
We invite you to join us on Sunday, March 11 to see a very special benefit performance of “Sarah’s War,” a fictional play based on the real life experiences of late American peace activist Rachel Corrie.
The play portrays Sarah as an idealistic 23-year-old who decides to join members of the International Solidarity Movement in the Palestinian Territories under Israeli military occupation. Applying nonviolent protest tactics of Dr. King and Gandhi, she tries to save a Palestinian home from being razed, but is crushed by an IDF bulldozer.
After the play, join us for a talkback with playwright Valerie Dillman and the cast of “Sarah’s War.”
“Sarah’s War” made LA Weekly’s Pick of the Week and Back Stage Critic’s Pick.
Read more about the play online.
