AB 715 Delayed—Now Let’s Defeat It

Thanks to your powerful advocacy, AB 715 was pulled from its Senate Education Committee hearing on July 9 due to widespread opposition by educators, teachers’ unions, student advocates, and legal organizations across California. This is a major win and proof that public pressure works.

But the fight isn’t over.

The bill is expected to return to the Senate Education Committee after the Legislature’s August recess, and we may see new amendments. No matter how it’s rewritten, AB 715 is a blatant censorship bill designed to shield Zionism from academic inquiry and erase critical voices. This bill’s provisions threaten honest education and academic freedom across all subjects by setting a dangerous precedent to suppress dissent and critical discussions in California classrooms.

We must stay organized and ready.

Tell the Senate Education Committee: Vote NO on AB 715 no matter which form it returns in.

We delayed AB 715. Now let’s stop it for good.
