On June 26, 2018 the US Supreme Court upheld the Trump administration’s third Muslim ban in a 5-4 ruling. In January of this year, the ban was expanded to 6 more countries that included mostly African nations. Racism is a pandemic. The recent Muslim Ban expansion is another piece of a broad campaign targeting immigrants and communities of color. American families are being separated by the Muslim Ban in communities across the United States.

On the 2nd anniversary of the Supreme Court’s decision to uphold the ban, join us for a panel discussion on Friday, June 26 at 4 PM PT, with community leaders on the implications of the Muslim Ban on our families and communities.

Guest Panelists:
Dr. Debbie Almontaser, Yemeni American Merchants Association
Zahra Billoo, CAIR-CA
Zack Mohamed, Black Alliance for Just Immigration

[Co-sponsors: Black Alliance for Just Immigration, CAIR California, CLUE: Clergy and Laity United for Economic Justice, Palestinian Youth Movement – حركة الشباب الفلسطيني]
