Community Organizing Training

This 7-month training program will help participants understand how to create change around issues that impact you and your community. We will examine this through the lens of opportunity and oppression and learn tools for developing powerful comprehensive campaigns to address issues of public policy in Orange County and beyond.

Trainings are scheduled once per month, from June 2019 until December 2019 graduation.

• Trainings will be conducted in both English and Spanish
• Dinner will be served at each training
• Childcare will be available if necessary
• Training participants must attend at least 80% of class sessions to graduate
• Trainings will involve about 2-3 hours of reading or hands on practice between each session
