Healing, outrage, processing, and togetherness. We'll gather at the Federal Building at Wilshire and Veteran for an interfaith vigil as we hold each other and stand in solidarity with the Pittsburgh Jewish community and with Jews and interfaith partners across the country.
We'll have a short speaking program with music followed by a candlelight vigil.
**Please bring a candle for the candlelight vigil.**
The 3rd Annual Women's March LA on Saturday will once again bring together people of all genders, ages, races, cultures, political affiliations, disabilities and backgrounds for a movement that has not subsided, but flourished since 2016.
This 3rd annual march will feature powerful speakers, music, art, community booths, and a shared voice of resistance with advocacy aligned with our Unity Principles: ending violence, protection of reproductive rights, LGBTQIA rights, workers’ rights, civil rights, disability rights, immigrant rights, indigenous people’s rights and environmental justice.
UyghurLA - with the endorsement of CAIR Greater LA, Peace Catalyst International, ICNA, Sound Vision and others - is organizing a rally in Los Angeles on Saturday, April 6 to protest the systematic, escalating persecution of the Uyghur people in China.
Allies from the interfaith community will also attend to send a strong message that such brazen violations of human rights are unacceptable and to call on the U.S. government to act.
