Aliya Yousufi brings over 10 years of experience as a community organizer and policy analyst to her role as Senior Policy Coordinator at CAIR-LA. Aliya received a dual B.A. degree in Political Science and History from UCLA and her Jurisdiction Doctorate from the USC Gould School of Law. She is a licensed attorney in the state of California. Aliya credits CAIR-LA with giving her start with activism as a policy intern at 16 years old. Having since worked in policy roles at the State, County, and City level, Aliya is grateful to have come back full circle to work at CAIR-LA and further its policy advocacy platform.
