Amal Hassan is an immigrants’ rights advocate at CAIR-LA. She will receive her Paralegal Certificate by the end of 2021 from Santa Ana College. As an intern with CAIR-LA, she gained experience in providing legal services (with attorney supervision) as well as in providing Arabic interpretation for Arabic-speaking immigrants and assisting low-income families. Amal is dedicated to bridging the language gap and serving marginalized communities, especially the Muslim-American community. She aspires to help and give a voice to immigrants and is passionate and committed to facilitating the long immigration process.
Amal is interested in legal studies and intends to pursue a degree in law. When she has the time, she enjoys traveling and testing new dishes with her family.
