Amanda Sorvig is a law clerk in CAIR-LA’s civil rights department and Immigrants’ Rights Center. She currently attends the Fowler School of Law at Chapman University.
After earning a bachelor’s degree in Spanish linguistics from the University of Colorado, Amanda moved west because she was attracted by the lovely Southern California climate.
When she isn’t studying or serving her internship, Amanda enjoys cooking international food, hanging out with her French bulldog Luna and shopping for vintage stuff with her husband.
The impact of the current political climate on the Muslim community attracted her to CAIR-LA.
