Hamed Noorzay is the outreach manager at Afghan American Muslim Outreach (AAMO). AAMO’s Mission is to serve the Afghan-American Muslim community through social activism, fostering an Afghan-American Muslim identity, and empowering newly arrived refugees to establish their lives in the United States while providing future generations with tools to better serve their communities.
After receiving his M.B.A. in business administration, Hamed embarked on a successful business, marketing, and technology consulting career with Fortune 500 corporations. His unique ability to create synergy between people, technology, and business has made him a sought-after consultant.
Hamed loves to give back to the community. His philanthropic contributions started in his teens, right after getting his first part-time job when he was in high school. After receiving his first paycheck, he sponsored an orphan in Afghanistan. Hamed has continued his philanthropic work for over 30 years by participating in sending aid to earthquake victims, building schools, building masques, and building safe drinking water infrastructures in Afghanistan.
Hamed joined AAMO full-time to leverage his business and technology acumen as well as his passion for philanthropic work. He is focused on serving an underserved community and empowering AAMO to achieve its goals and objectives.
