Islam Aly

Law Clerk

Islam Aly is a law clerk in the civil right department at CAIR-LA. He is currently attending law school at UCLA.
Before attending law school, Islam earned an undergrad degree in history and economics from the University of Wisconsin. The outstanding weather and the strong human rights and public interests law departments at UCLA motivated him to move to the West Coast.
Born in Alexandria, Egypt, Islam and his family moved to the U.S. in 2000. Islam is passionate about Arabic poetry and calligraphy. He enjoys working out, fishing and hiking.
