Paola Garcia serves as a Civil Rights and Immigration intern at CAIR-LA, where she is looking forward to being exposed to all the branches of law. Currently, Paola is aiming to become an attorney specializing in international law.
Paola grew up in the Sonoran Desert near Palm Springs before attending UC Irvine. She majors in international studies and political science and has a certificate in global Middle East studies. She is finishing her final courses at UCI this summer before she starts prepping for the LSAT in September.
Last April, Paola underwent reconstructive surgery after tearing her ACL. While she was recovering, she undertook the challenge of learning Arabic and Farsi.
A lover of nature and the beach, Paola enjoys practicing creative makeup techniques and cooking. Enchiladas and mole are her specialities.
