As reported by Los Angeles Magazine, despite news of the mass shootings March 15th at two mosques in Christchurch, New Zealand, Southern California mosques intend to keep their doors open to community members of all faiths.

After planning an interfaith solidarity rally in Anaheim, Eugene Fields, the communications manager for the Council on American-Islamic Relations, Los Angeles (CAIR-LA) said, “We are concerned about making sure that people know that we’re there for them, and that we stand against hate.” (Los Angeles Magazine, March 15, 2019.)
