At CAIR-LA, our hearts are heavy this Ramadan as we approach nearly 170 days of genocide in Gaza. No matter the challenges, it’s crucial that we don’t stop talking about Palestine.
Whether it’s sharing a social media post, wearing a keffiyeh, donating to organizations on the frontline, or engaging with elected officials to call for a permanent ceasefire, every action makes a difference and helps bring awareness to the ongoing violence and genocide in Gaza.
Make Du’a
اللهُمَّ أَصْلِحْ أَحْوَالَ المُسْلِمِِينَ فِي فِلِسطِينَ، اللهُمَّ أَصْلِحْ أَحْوَالَ المُسْلِمِِينَ فِي فِلِسطِينَ وفي كُلِّ مَكَانٍ، يَا ذَا الجَلالِ وَالإِكْرِامِ
Allahumma aslih ahwal al-Muslimina fi Filistin, Allahumma aslih ahwal al-Muslimina fi Filistin wa fi kulli makan, ya Dhul-Jalali wal-Ikram.
Oh Allah, rectify the affairs of the Muslims in Palestine. Oh Allah, rectify the affairs of the Muslims in Palestine and in every place, Oh Lord of Majesty and Bounty.
نَسَأَلُكَ بِأَنَّنا نَشْهَدُ أَنَّكَ أَنْتَ اللهُ لا إِلهَ إلا أَنْتَ، الأَحَدُ الصَّمَدُ الَّذي لَمْ يَلِدْ وَلَمْ يُولَدْ وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ كُفُواً أَحَد، أَنْ تَنْصُرَ أهلنا في فلسطين و في غز ة خاصىة.
Nas’aluka bi ananaa nash-hadu annaka antallah, la ilaha illa ant, al-aha-dus-samadu-ladhdhi lam yalid wa lam yu-lad wa lam yakul-lahu kufuwan ahad. An tansura ahlana fi Filisteen, wa fi Gaza khassatan.
We ask You, by virtue of bearing witness that You are Allah, there is no God worthy of worship but You, the One, the Self-Sufficient, Who begets not, nor was He begotten, and there is none who is comparable to Him. [We ask You] to grant victory to our brothers and sisters in Palestine, and in Gaza in particular.
Contact Your Elected Officials
Call, write, or email your local, state, and federal representatives and urge them to support a permanent ceasefire and end to the genocide, the immediate entrance of life-saving humanitarian aid into Gaza and the cessation of military funding to Israel.
