Amana received her bachelor’s degree in Applied Ecology and her master’s degree in Environmental Health Science and Policy from the University of California, Irvine. She has been a highly active member in her community, having previously served about 4 years on CAIR-LA’s governing board, about 3 years as PTO President at Orange Crescent School, and even creating her own business in the event and Production Industry known as Kismet Events.
