Dr. Hebatullah Taha, a pharmacist by profession, practices clinically in a community pharmacy and develops leadership in an additional 32 pharmacies in her company, earning her multiple awards for leadership and patient care.
She moved to California in 2005 after earning her pharmacy bachelor’s degree at Cairo University. She subsequently earned her MBA at Loma Linda University and her doctorate (PharmD) at the University of Florida.
Raised in Zambia, having lived in Egypt before moving to the US provided her with much insight into human rights and activism, creating an insatiable desire for community service. As an active member of the Muslim and Interfaith community, she cofounded a Sunday Islamic school and served on its board for seven years.
She loves to travel, enjoys the outdoors and yoga, and savors spending time in the soothing and fun company of family and friends.
She began serving the CAIR-LA Governance Board in 2021.
