Students and faculty across the country are staging walkouts today to demand the release of Mahmoud Khalil, a Columbia graduate and lawful permanent resident arrested by federal agents for his pro-Palestinian activism.
CAIR-LA Legal Director Amr Shabaik, Esq., warns that the administration is targeting activists for their speech, setting a dangerous precedent.
Demonstrations are planned at the University of California, Los Angeles, federal buildings, and other campuses nationwide.
