CAIR Designates Jewish American Summit and Republican Jewish Coalition as Anti-Muslim Extremist Organizations

The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the nation’s largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy group, recently announced that it has designated both the Jewish American Summit and the Republican Jewish Coalition (RJC) as anti-Muslim extremist organizations after both entities hosted separate events this past weekend that platformed known anti-Muslim bigots expressing their hatred of Muslims.

The organizers of the Jewish American Summit have elected to platform anti-Muslim extremists over the last three years, culminating at the August 2026 event, during which attendees cheered and applauded a speaker who said he did not want Muslims in America and likened them to donkeys.

A video preserved by Middle East Eye shows 2026 event speaker, former Israeli operative and anti-Muslim extremist Mosab Hassan Youssef, stating, “I as an American. I as a taxpayer. I don’t want Muslims in America. Get the f**k out of the United States. Go back to the s**tholes where you came from and reform your own countries. This country is perfect, and it’s much better without your Islamic belief system.”

Fellow invited speaker Dr. Gad Saad has also previously alleged that Islam and Muslims are inherently or uniquely violent, manipulative, and devious He also frequently alleges that Islam is an existential threat to the U.S. and the “West.”

Each of the anti-Muslim speakers featured at the Jewish American Summit, including Youssef, Saad, Bill Maher, Ambassador Mike Huckabee, and Dennis Prager, has a public and lengthy record of expressing hatred of Islam or Muslims.

Separately, the RJC has also hosted anti-Muslim extremists, including their “longtime friend” Representative Randy Fine (R-FL), who endorses destroying all “mainstream Muslims” in what would amount to a genocidal religious cleansing of the U.S. Repeat coalition guest speaker Sid Rosenberg has compared Black female athletes to animals and said that one Black female tennis player “had a better chance of posing for National Geographic than Playboy.”

Despite its stated opposition to antisemitism, the RJC hosted Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) after she made a remark about Jewish Rep. Sara Jacobs (D-CA)’s nose—which Jacobs called “very antisemitic.” The RJC praised Mace for her “powerful speech and [highlighting] the importance of embracing faith.”

In a statement, CAIR Research and Advocacy Director Corey Saylor said:

“Hate is unacceptable. That is a simple line to draw. For years, the organizers of the Jewish American Summit and the Republican Jewish Coalition have decided crossing that line when it comes to Muslims is acceptable. We are therefore issuing a well-documented designation of these groups as anti-Muslim extremists for knowingly platforming speakers who have expressed the vilest hatred of the American Muslim community and Islam itself.”

In a statement, CAIR Greater Los Angeles Area (CAIR-LA) Executive Director Hussam Ayloush said:

“Any person, or organization, who claims to oppose bigotry and extremism must apply that principle consistently. You cannot condemn antisemitism and other forms of discrimination while giving a standing ovation to someone who says Muslims do not belong in the U.S. or claim to defend religious freedom while platforming people who are known to have extreme anti-Muslim viewpoints. This type of hatred has severe real-world consequences, and our community will not remain silent while anti-Muslim hate is not only normalized but applauded.”

CAIR added that, if the organizational sponsors of the Jewish American Summit—including the Anti-Defamation League, the Jewish National Fund, the Jewish Federation of Los Angeles, and other major pro-Israel groups—and the RJC do not repudiate the hatred at these events, it may apply the anti-Muslim extremist designation to them as well.

CAIR-LA is the Los Angeles office of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the nation’s largest Muslim civil liberties and advocacy organization. Its mission is to enhance the understanding of Islam, protect civil rights, promote justice, and empower American Muslims.
