On Saturday November 14th2015, CAIR-LA held an interfaith prayer vigil in response to the Paris terror attacks. The prayer vigil was held at CAIR-LA’s 19th annual banquet at the Anaheim Hilton.
The vigil was held to mourn the loss of the victims and their loved ones who were affected by the recent ISIS terrorist attacks in Paris, Beirut, Ankara, Syria and Iraq.

The interfatih prayer vigil was led by Dr. Muzammil Siddiqi, the religious director of the Islamic Society of Orange County.
The Prayer reads: ”
As faith leaders and community leaders who represent the religious diversity of Southern California, we stand in unity for the sanctity of every human life. We unequivocally condemn those horrific and despicable attacks on civilians in Paris and earlier in Beirut, Ankara, and throughout Iraq and Syria for the past few years.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the loved ones of those killed and injured. We stand, as Americans of diverse faith backgrounds in full solidarity with all the people of France, Lebanon, Turkey, Iraq, and Syria.
In pain, sadness, and yet with great hope and deep faith, we pray that God bestow peace and comfort on our wounded world and shattered humanity. We pray that God guide our leaders and peoples to seek justice, not revenge, unity, not divisiveness.
We pray for God’s mercy and compassion.
