Media Coverage of ‘Alice in Arabia’ Show and Cancellation

On March 19, CAIR-LA asked ABC Family Channel to meet with with Muslim and Arab-American community leaders to discuss concerns about potential stereotyping in the pilot for a new series called “Alice in Arabia.” On March 21, the major news network announced that it had decidedto cancel the pilot — adecision welcomed by CAIR-LA.
