March 23, 2019 @ 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Join COSVIO, MSA CSUS, CAIR Sacramento Valley, ICNA Sacramento, MAS – Social Services Foundation, AMALA Youth Hotline, area masajid state and local leaders, and community members for a night of healing and empowerment in the wake of the horrifying New Zealand mosque attacks.

Sacramento’s mayor and the president of Sac State will be speaking as well.

The video of the atrocity unfortunately circulated far and wide and many of our community’s youth have watched it. Seasoned journalists who watched the video of the attack described it as one of the most traumatic videos they’ve ever seen.

In light of this, the evening will focus on healing after a major traumatic event and will include a spiritual message by Muslim faith leaders and crucial information and messages of healing from mental health experts.

The event is scheduled for 5-7 p.m. this Saturday, March 23, at the Sacramento State Union Ballroom, 6000 J St., Sacramento. There will be free parking in Structure II.

*All are welcome.*
