Claudia Linares serves as CAIR Sacramento Valley/Central California’s Paralegal/Legal Coordinator. In this position, she supports the Civil Rights and Immigration departments.
As a first-generation immigrant, she is very passionate about educating the immigrant community about their rights. During college, she was an advocate for the DACA program and assisted in immigration law clinics and know your rights workshops. She graduated with an Associate in Arts from Sacramento City College with an emphasis in Political Science and continued her education at the American River College Legal Studies Program.
Outside of work, Claudia enjoys cooking, gardening, and taking walks in nature.
