Join CAIR-CA staff on February 17 at 6PM to discus Join CAIR-CA staff on February 17 at 6PM to discuss the story of Black History Month!
Many of us have come to take for granted February as a month dedicated to Black folks without engaging intentionally with the principles, purpose, and founding of this month!
Through this conversation, our staff hopes to affirm and support in the national and international visibility of Black folks as a means of amplifying their celebration of self, community, and political and social institutionalities!
As we welcome and embrace the learnings in Black History Month with excitement and humility, it’s critical that we continue to commit to honoring Black youth and Black families daily and beyond this month!

Look out for the events and resources to be shared in this upcoming month!

Alhamdullilah, today marks the official rescission Alhamdullilah, today marks the official rescission of the Muslim and African Ban. We thank the Biden-Harris Administration for taking swift action on their first day in office to repeal the ban, but we recognize that there is still much work to be done.

We will continue to stand with Muslim and African immigrants until they are reunited with their families. We will stand with Dreamers, and with other undocumented people around the country until they no longer have to live in fear of unlawful ICE detentions. We see you, and we will not stop until all of us are safe.
