Community Organizing: Work with Sacramento ACT to organize locally on policy issues Translation Services (Seasonal) Ramadan Outreach: Join CAIR at a pre-scheduled visit to a mosque after iftar time. Jummah Outreach: Hand out flyers at the masjid closest to you and occasionally help table. Phone Banking: Call community members to promote campaigns and events, from the CAIR-SV office. Event Planning: Includes logistics, volunteer recruitment, marketing, etc. Onsite Events: Includes transporting supplies, registration, set up, tear down, ushering etc. Operations: Help execute office tasks such as printing, mailing, scanning, shredding, data entry work using Excel. Graphic Design: Help design flyers, brochures, and other print and electronic materials. Communications/ Media: Write letters to the editor in response to Islamophobia encountered in local newspapers. Social Media: Help promote CAIR through various mediums, including Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and Instagram Photography & Videography: Take photos & videos at events.
