Created in 2017 and extended in January of 2020, the Muslim and African Ban restricts travel from various Muslim-dominant and African countries. This racist and discriminatory ban has torn apart and separated countless families, removing children from parents and spouses from each other. America should be a welcoming place for people of all races and religions, but this ban clearly targets Muslim communities and Muslim-dominated African communities.
The NO BAN Act (H.R.2214) will come before the House of Representatives for a vote tomorrow, July 22.
