October 21, 2018 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

MCC is hosting an educational candidate forum in partnership with CAIR – San Francisco Bay Area as an opportunity to learn about your local candidates during another critical election year.

Local elected officials have more of an impact on our daily lives than many other political positions, as their decisions impact the oversight for county law enforcement officers, transportation, housing, and a number of other public services.

Also listen to the candidates discuss the Muslim Ban, hate crimes, bullying of Muslim American children, and more, so that when you go to the polls next month, you’ll know exactly what decisions to make.

We invite you to join us and show that the American Muslim community is very interested in hearing about the candidate’s platforms and positions, if they are elected. This voter education forum is an opportunity to educate and empower us to become more politically, civically, and publicly engaged between public officials and American Muslims.

We will be hearing from candidates running for Pleasanton City Council and California’s 16th Assembly District. which in Alameda County covers Pleasanton, Dublin and Livermore.
