Blessing Chirimbani

Development Specialist

Blessing Chirimbani is a Development Coordinator at the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-SFBA). In this position, she will support donor relations, donation management, and fundraising efforts for the organization.

Blessing was born and raised in Zimbabwe. She lived and studied in Norway for two years before coming to the United States of America and pursued her undergraduate studies from the University of Oklahoma with degrees in International Studies and Public & Non-Profit Administration with a minor in International Development.

Her passion is rooted in serving the community and that has shaped her intense involvement with Model United Nations since 2014 as Secretary General & President. In college, Blessing worked on numerous civil rights projects with different nonprofits and has grown to understand that speaking on issues of marginalization is not enough without actions that bring about tangible change. She strongly believes that fighting for equity and equality is a way of life and not just a job or a hobby.

Outside of work, she volunteers remotely with a girl child rescue center in Kenya. She also enjoys video calls with family, reading, crocheting, eating, and just basking in the sun.
