Brittney Rezaei is the Immigrants’ Rights Attorney for the San Francisco Bay Area office of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-SFBA). She leads CAIR-SFBA’s immigrants’ rights work and provides direct legal services to immigrant communities and their families. Brittney previously served as CAIR-SFBA’s Civil Rights Attorney. During that time, she advocated for civil rights in employment, public accommodations, and schools in an environment of heightened Islamophobia.
Brittney graduated from UC Davis with bachelor’s’ degrees in Middle East/South Asia Studies and International Relations. While in college, Brittney studied Arabic, Farsi, and French. Brittney earned her J.D. from Santa Clara University School of Law (SCU), and is licensed to practice law in California. At SCU, she participated in the International Human Rights Clinic, the Immigration Appellate Practice Clinic, and Katherine & George Alexander Community Law Center’s immigration program. She also interned at the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, Division of International Protection.
