Fatima Junaid is a Community Canvasser at CAIR-SFBA. As part of the organization’s Advocacy Department, in this position she engages with community members about their civil rights and opportunities for civic engagement and assists in staffing voter registration booths at local mosques and other relevant events.
Fatima is currently a student at San Jose State University with the goal of completing her bachelor’s degree in Psychology.
Fatima spent several years as a tutor before working at CAIR-SFBA. She is passionate about civil rights and political science and aims to educate the community about civil rights and justice.
In her free time, she enjoys making jewelry, painting, hiking, and taking care of her spoiled bunny, Malak.
