Jibraan Qureshi is the Voter Engagement Coordinator for the San Francisco Bay Area office of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-SFBA). In this position, he aims to increase voter engagement in the Bay Area Muslim community.
Jibraan is currently attending San Jose State University, and although majoring in Electrical Engineering, he is passionate about social justice and activism. He believes it is important for American Muslims to be “unapologetically Muslim.” He is the President of the Muslim Student Association on his campus and a co-founder of a Muslim clothing line, Kufi Clothing.
Jibraan has been actively participating in CAIR activities and events for a few years now, such as Bridging Communities, the Muslim Youth Leadership Program, and the annual CAIR banquet. Now, he is excited to take the next step into helping the world around him by joining CAIR-SFBA as a staff member.
