Mohammad Naeem Latoon serves as an Immigrants’ Rights Case Worker at CAIR-SFBA, where he specializes in providing immigration legal assistance. His role primarily involves offering free or low-cost legal services to Afghan newcomers, as well as supporting the broader Muslim community in the Bay Area with their immigration needs.

Mohammad brings a wealth of experience to this position, having served in various capacities with multiple international organizations. His roles have included lawyer, legal advisor/trainer, and institutional development advisor. His most recent position was as an advocacy specialist with the International Development Law Organization (IDLO) in Afghanistan.

Throughout his career, Mohammad has successfully managed hundreds of criminal cases for indigent clients, displaying a deep commitment to justice. Additionally, he has organized numerous legal training programs, covering crucial topics, such as women’s rights, human trafficking, and violence against women.

Mohammad has master’s degrees in both general criminal law and public policy and administration. His educational background reflects his dedication to continuous learning and professional development.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Mohammad’s interests include playing football and exploring different parts of the world through travel.
