Eight different community groups, committed to protecting civil rights, are hosting a virtual candidate forum tonight at 7:00 p.m. for candidates running for Santa Clara County District Attorney.
The confirmed candidates are former Deputy DA Daniel Chung, Deputy Public Defender Sajid Khan, and District Attorney Jeff Rosen. Dr. William Armaline, founder of the Human Rights Minor Program, Director of the Human Rights Collaborative, and an Associate Professor in the Department of Sociology and Interdisciplinary Social Sciences at San José State University, will be moderating the program.
At the event, candidates will answer questions submitted by community members and sponsors of the forum: ACLU of Northern California – Santa Clara Valley Chapter, Asian Law Alliance, Black Leadership Kitchen Cabinet, Coalition for Justice and Accountability, CAIR San Francisco Bay Area, La Raza Roundtable, San Jose/Silicon Valley NAACP, and Silicon Valley De-Bug.
