November 2, 2020

If you have not already registered to vote, it’s not too late. You can still head to your local polling station to register. Same-Day Registration is open through the end of the day on Election Day, November 3.

You can vote in-person on or before Election Day. Find your polling location or text ‘Vote’ to GOVOTE (468683) or call (800)-345-VOTE (8683).

You can return your mail-in ballot by returning it in-person to a polling place, official ballot drop box, or the county elections’ office.

Vote-by-mail ballots that are personally delivered must be delivered no later than the close of polls at 8:00pm on November 3. While we no longer recommend mailing your ballot, if you must do so, in California, in order for it to be counted it must be postmarked by November 3 and received by November 20.

If you are wondering where your ballot is, track your ballot here.

Need help filling out your ballot?

We have developed an online resource for voters which includes video links to our voter education events as well as a statewide voter guide. The guide contains a congressional scorecard, a state legislative scorecard, and a statewide proposition guide. You can also review our local measures guide for recommendations on the city and county ballot measures.

As a 501c(3) organization, CAIR cannot endorse any candidates. However, we did hold virtual candidate forums in cities around the Bay Area including Sunnyvale, San Ramon, Santa Clara, Dublin, Oakland, Pleasanton, and Fremont. These events were an opportunity to bridge the gap between not being able to endorse candidates but wanting to ensure voters have an opportunity to connect with them. If you missed them, you can view the recordings by clicking on the city names linked above.
