November 17, 2015

First there was Black Friday, then Cyber Monday, and now Giving Tuesday. On December 1st, CAIR-SFBA is partnering with the #GivingTuesday campaign, and we need you to join us. It’s 24 hours of nonprofit giving, and your chance to help us reach our goal of recruiting 21 new MONTHLY DONORS in one day.  Monthly donors, also known as “Champions of Justice,” make a commitment to invest in the civil rights and advocacy work our organization is doing on a monthly basis. Each donation made will put us closer to closing our year-end fundraising goal of $300,000. We are only $77,000 away from making it there!

In honor of our 21st anniversary, we ask you to support 21 years of advocacy by signing up to be one of 21 NEW Champions of Justice for the day.

Occurring this year on December 1, #GivingTuesday is held annually on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving (in the U.S.) and the widely recognized shopping events Black Friday and Cyber Monday to kick-off the holiday giving season and inspire people to collaborate in improving their local communities and to give back in impactful ways to the charities and causes they support.
