CAIR-CA is celebrating our 10th anniversary of the Muslim community successfully demonstrating their commitment to political, social, and economic justice at Muslim Day at the Capitol (MDAC). Over the past nine years, we had more than 4,000 Californians join MDAC to advocate and protect our community against a Muslim registry, make California a sanctuary state, reinstate voting rights for parolees, lift the ban on affirmative action, create hate crime reporting standards, and so much more.

This year, we are meeting our elected officials with a legislative agenda that addresses the needs of asylum seekers, protects protestors, and establishes the first-ever Statewide Human Rights Commission.

MDAC is approaching fast, and we have up-to-date resources and information to share with you.

  • Legislative agenda and meeting materials
  • Register for an MDAC training and ask your questions on Tuesday, May 18, or Friday, May 21
  • Quick video clips to prepare for your legislative meetings
  • Scheduled meetings with elected officials

Let’s be a part of making California a more just, safe, and equitable place! See resources and register here.
