The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has extended Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for Yemen for 18 months through March 3, 2020. Current TPS beneficiaries from Yemen must re-register by October 15, 2018, to maintain their status through March 3, 2020.

To be eligible for TPS re-registration, a Yemeni national must have continuously resided in the U.S. since January 4, 2017, and have been physically present since March 4, 2017. CAIR-CA encourages Yemeni TPS holders to apply as soon as possible. If you need assistance with your TPS application or other immigration questions, please contact us by completing this form.
