As a civil rights advocacy non-profit, CAIR-SFBA is tasked with striving to protect and uphold our Constitutional rights. Though the size of our task is large, our resources are not. Because of this, we rely heavily on volunteers and interns to help make our goals a reality. If you are interested in helping out with CAIR-SFBA’s work, we would more than welcome your participation and support.

Volunteer for CAIR-SFBA’s 24th Annual Banquet

CAIR-SFBA’s Annual Banquet is scheduled for Saturday, October 27, 2018 at the Santa Clara Convention Center. Our volunteer team is an essential part of the event! Together several dozen committed individuals will host over 1,000 attendees at our biggest event of the year. Join the effort to support
To volunteer at the Banquet:
• interested applicants should complete the volunteer application form below, by Sunday, August 12
• applicants who are selected will be contacted via email to confirm their participation
• selected applicants will need to attend a mandatory volunteer orientation on August 16 at 7:00pm or August 18 at 10:00am
• selected applicants will also need to attend a mandatory venue walk-through in September.

Volunteer Opportunities

2018 volunteer opportunities with CAIR-SFBA include but are not limited to:

  • Graphic design
  • Videography
  • Administrative and operations support
  • Event planning support
  • Jummah outreach
  • Marketing
  • Translation

Volunteer opportunities are flexible and available year-round to those who are 16 and older.  To volunteer at CAIR-SFBA,  please read carefully below:

2. Volunteers must attend a mandatory in-person training at the CAIR office. Volunteers are invited to attend an upcoming training on the following date/s:
