Moona Siddiqui

Moona Siddiqui is a Managing Immigrants’ Rights Attorney for the Sacramento Valley/Central CA/Central California office of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-SVCC). In this position, she provides legal representation to community members in their immigration cases.

Moona received her Bachelor of Sciences degree in Environmental Science, Policy and Management from the University of California, Berkeley and her J.D. at UC Davis School of Law. Prior to joining CAIR Moona was both a supervising immigration attorney at a San Francisco area immigration law firm and an associate at a Sacramento area law firm where she represented immigrants in various stages of removal proceedings and at the asylum office. Moona also represented immigrants in front of USCIS in affirmative applications as well as other forms of relief for immigrants. During law school, Moona fought for asylum-seekers and immigrants at the UC Davis Immigration Law Clinic, and at the law firm of Van Der Hout, Brigagliano.
