Join us for a one-day organizing intensive training for the Muslim Community Action Network (MCAN)! Strengthen your organizing skills and deepen your understanding of how to build power within the Muslim community.
This training session will cover:
- Understanding power and how it operates
- Exploring the “world as it is” vs. the “world as it should be”
- Identifying self-interest and its role in effective community organizing
- Mapping opportunities for the SoCal Muslim community
- A strategic discussion on how organized Muslim communities can make meaningful impact in the upcoming midterm elections
