Pro-se model workshop for qualifying families. Fee waivers filed on your behalf, and filing fees can be covered if a waiver is denied. Targets adult & civic classes.

Full-scope representation for green card applications over a structured 6-week process. Fee waivers and medical fees covered for eligible families.

Family Preparedness: How It Works
WORKSHOP OVERVIEW
Under the current administration, ICE arrests and prolonged detentions have increased regardless of legal status. Our workshop covers the Why and the How of building an emergency family plan because the When is now.

Citizenship Workshop: Event Outline

Week Before — Preparation
Outreach gathers participant list

Workshop Day Schedule
- 9 AM – 11 AM · Presentation: Paralegals deliver the full presentation
- 11 AM – 1 PM · Lunch break: Participants gather any missing documents or information
- 1 PM – 5 PM · Case work: Attorneys and paralegals draft and finalize applications. Mailing instructions provided.

Process Timeline
Week 1 · Intake & Triage
Outreach gathers participant lists. The legal team sends intake forms. Consultations identify and prioritize those who qualify.
Week 2 · Consultations & Retainer
Qualifying participants receive retainers via email. Paralegal sends a document checklist and instructions for workshop day.
Week 3 · Workshop Day (9 AM – 6 PM)
In-person presentation. Legal staff review documents, draft applications, collect signatures and photos
Weeks 4–5 · Application Prep
Paralegals finalize and prepare the application for attorney review.
Week 6 · Mailing & Delivery
Administrative assistant mails the application. Client receives a copy via email.
Hosting a Workshop
REQUIREMENTS FOR HOST ORGANIZATIONS
• Appropriate number of attendees confirmed prior to the event
• Physical space with sufficient seating
• Internet access and projector
• Tables, printers, and paper
• Participant list with emails provided in advance
• Coordination on language access needs if applicable

Organizations that cannot meet full logistical requirements will be offered a Zoom presentation, our intake form, and free consultations through our triage model.
