The Muslim community has been disproportionately targeted globally, federally, and locally by governments as well as private institutions. Some of these issues have been impacting the Muslim community for decades, others began shortly after 9/11, and some more recent attacks are due to the rise of Islamophobia globally that was further perpetuated by the Trump administration.

While our work focuses primarily on state and local issues, your support to increase local engagement with federal officials increases our ability to address these critical federal issues:

• Stop Israel’s occupation of Palestinian land, through efforts to divest US funded support of Israel
• Protect against the ethnic cleansing of Uyghur and Rohingya Muslims by increasing political awareness and action to address these human rights abuses
• Amplify the growing Islamophobic actions of the BJP & Hindutva in India and Kashmir in Congress
