Dear community members and friends,

The Greater Los Angeles Area office of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-LA) is seeking nominations for its Governance Board. Ideal candidates will strengthen CAIR-LA’s civic engagement efforts, add to the organization’s legal expertise, and/or broaden our community’s reach.

This is an exciting opportunity to help drive CAIR-LA’s mission of enhancing the understanding of Islam, protecting civil liberties and empowering American Muslims.

Help lead CAIR-LA into the future by nominating a colleague or yourself to join the CAIR-LA Governance Board. The Governance Board will review all nominations and follow up with candidates selected for follow up interviews.

Sincerely,
Fawad Shaiq
President, CAIR-LABA Governance Board
