About the program

The Muslim Gamechangers Network (MGN) is a three-month social justice training program for Muslim high school students which will equip participants with the tools to critically understand their world, effectively challenge injustice, and build legacies of positive change in their communities. The program consists of weekly interactive sessions and possible field trips centered on themes of identity, history, social responsibility, and organizing tools, all grounded in an Islamic worldview.

CAIR-LA is proud to announce that we are currently accepting applications for the 5th annual MGN!

Each year, the program takes place at a partner mosque that hosts MGN for their youth group. Because of the high volume of requests we receive from various mosques to host MGN, we have opened applications for mosque leadership to apply on behalf of their institution. Selection of the host mosque is based on various criteria, including youth group size and age, capacity, availability of local facilitators and more.

Note: Youth group members, parents, or individuals interested in MGN should reach out to their respective mosque leadership and ask them to apply on behalf of the mosque’s youth group. The deadline for mosque leadership to apply is Sunday, February 4, 2018 at 11:59 PM.
