Fazil A. Munir is an Immigrants’ Rights Attorney at CAIR-LA. Fazil provides legal representation for community members facing immigration cases.
Fazil is a graduate of UC Davis School of Law. He was admitted to the state bar of California and is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA).
Fazil also earned his Master’s Degree in Teaching English as a Second Language from the University of Sunderland (UK). Before joining CAIR-LA, Fazil taught English teacher training and Creative Writing at Universitas Ahmad Dahlan, an institute of higher education in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. As a child and grandchild of immigrants, as well as being a former immigrant himself (eventually repatriated), he has an in-depth understanding of the struggles immigrants encounter both inside and outside of the United States. He is devoted to his clients and the successful outcome of their cases.
