Nasir Pacilli, J.D.

Civil Rights Legal Fellow

Nasir Pacilli is a Legal Fellow for the Civil Rights Department at CAIR-LA. He is dedicated to working on issues protecting the civil rights and civil liberties of Muslims in the region.

Nasir graduated from the City University of New York (CUNY) School of Law in 2023. He gained significant experience with the Creating Law Enforcement Accountability & Responsibility (CLEAR) Clinic in his second and third years at CUNY Law. The CUNY CLEAR Clinic provides legal and advocacy services to combat wrongful government surveillance that targets and negatively affects Arab, Middle Eastern, Muslim, and South Asian communities. Nasir also contributed to CUNY Law’s International Law Journal with his 2022 publication, “Dividing the United Kingdom: The Xenophobic and Islamophobic Realities of the Nationality and Borders Act.”

In his free time, Nasir enjoys researching and spending time outdoors, including hiking and swimming.
