CAIR-CA Issues Travel Guidance Amid COVID-19 Pandemic

Dear CAIR-LA supporters,

While our office has closed due to the public health concerns regarding COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic, we continue to assist clients with their legal issues.

As the virus has spread across the globe, the United States and other countries have enacted travel restrictions that have left American citizens and family members stranded abroad.

The CAIR-LA Civil Rights Department has received a number of reports regarding this unfortunate occurrence. Our attorneys are working in conjunction with federal agencies and lawmakers to make sure Americans stranded overseas are accounted for and can return as soon as possible.

Americans stranded abroad should register for messages via http://step.state.gov, monitor the website for the U.S. embassy of the country they are in and check the U.S. State Department for updates.

We remain here for you. If you or someone you know is stranded overseas due to the COVID-19 crisis, please call our office at 714.776.1177 or email us at civilrights@losangeles.cair.com.
