Nearly 1,800 to Participate in Prayer for Paris Attacks Victims at CAIR-LA's 19th Annual Banquet

Anaheim, Calif. – 11/14/15) — Today the Council on American Islamic Relations of the Greater Los Angeles Area (CAIR-LA) announced that it will be holding an interfaith prayer vigil tonight in response to the Paris terror attacks. The prayer vigil will be held at CAIR-LA's 19th Annual Banquet at the Anaheim Hilton.

In a statement earlier, CAIR condemned the Paris Terror Attacks.

The interfaith prayer for humanity will be held to mourn the loss of the victims and their loved ones affected by the recent ISIS terrorist attacks in Paris and earlier in Beirut, Ankara, and throughout Syria and Iraq.  

Nearly 1,800 people are expected to participate including a number of federal, state and city officials, as well as interfaith leaders from the greater Los Angeles area and imams and representatives from almost all of the Southern California Islamic Centers and mosques.
