CAIR-LA would like to convey our sincerest appreciation and gratitude to our former President Br. Yasir Mahar for his visionary leadership in guiding the organization during his tenure.
"I'm extremely grateful to have been able to serve as President over the past 2+ years," said Mahar. "It has given me an even greater appreciation for not just the importance of CAIR's work to our community, but for the sacrifice our staff makes on a daily basis. We are very fortunate to have such talented individuals who have made the choice to work for our benefit. As an insider, I get the benefit of seeing the larger impact the organization makes year in and year out. I'm also very appreciative and grateful for my peers on the LA Executive Committee and on the State Board, who volunteer their time to add their talents to the organization.I would like to wish the incoming President Dr. Asif Harsolia the very best as he takes on this role to help propel the mission of CAIR-LA"
