CAIR San Diego has accomplished a lot this past year, first and foremost thanks to Allah and then to the generous donations and support of our community. When you donate to CAIR-SD, you empower this organization to stand for your civic and constitutional rights.

  • An ounce of prevention is better than a pound of cure.  Enabling CAIR-SD to proactively prevent discrimination, bullying, government over-reach and hate crimes is far more economical than to 'fix the wrong' after it happens.
  • Local Impact.  Over 90% of your donations are used and spent locally on local cases, media appearances and advocating local government officials and agencies on behalf of the community.
  • Make the vote count.  By creating voting guides for local and state-wide election candidates and propositions, and getting the Muslim community to participate in the voting process, CAIR-SD ensures that elected officials listen and pay attention to the community's concerns and translate those into bills in the capitol.
  • Defend Islam.  The Jihad to defend Islam is in media, government and courts. This is CAIR's mission.  Hence, CAIR comes under the 'Fi Sabil Allah' ('For the sake of Allah') category of Zakat recipients.  You can make you Zakat donations to CAIR

Your support in the form of donations, volunteering efforts and civic engagement has allowed the San Diego chapter to achieve many accomplishments:
