Freshta Ahrar is an Immigrants’ Rights Case Worker at CAIR-SFBA. In this position, she will support the organization in providing free legal services to members of the Bay Area Muslim community.
Freshta graduated from the American University of Afghanistan with a master’s degree in Business Administration. She has also earned a certification in conflict resolution and peace building from the School for International Training Graduate Institute. Her professional pathway contributes to advance human dignity on transformative issues, including gender equality, human rights, data and technology, peace, and humanitarian response.
Freshta is impassioned about humanitarian work and advocates for Muslim rights. Outside of work, Freshta enjoys spending time with family, shopping, and Canvas acrylic painting.
