Shoab is a long-time physician and surgeon in the Sacramento community who has always worked hard to try to help patients resolve their problems. Shoab tries to bring that to the CAIR board by helping to try to solve problems within our Muslim community. Shoab believes that strong ties to our local community can aid in promoting CAIR’s missions of enhancing understanding of Islam, promoting civil rights and justice, and empowering American Muslims. Shoab graduated from University of Illinois, Chicago medical school with an M.D. degree and is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society.
